- Summary:
It’s used for testing the flame-retardant properties of bundle flame-retardant wire and cable. Be applied to the srandard GB/T18380. (31-36)-2008 of "Cable and optical cable in the flame burning experiment conditions setting, perpendicular installation of bundles of wires and cables vertical flame spreading test", and also IEC60332-3-10: 2000.

Technical parameters:
◆ It’s made of test chamber, electrical control system, air source, Ignition source flow control system (ropane gas and air compressed gas), steel ladder, fire extinguisher, emission purification device etc.
◆ Test chamber dimension: 1000(W)*2000(D)*4000(H) mm
◆ Test chamber’s bottom should be above ground, and chamber’s surrounding should be sealed. Open a inlet of (800±20)mm*(400±10)mm at the bottom of chamber, (150±10)mm to front wall, to let air in. And open a outlet of (300±30)mm*(1000±100)mm at the top behind.
◆ Chamber’s back wall and two sides use USU304 stainless steel plates, heat transfer coefficient should be about 0.7W∙m-2∙K-1 thermal insulation, thickness of 1.5mm. Midlle coated thickness of 65mm cladding mineral fiber insulation, outer USU304 stainless steel plate, thickness of 1.5mm.
◆ Distance between the stainless steel ladder and chamber’s back wall: (150 ± 10) mm.
◆ Bottom crosspiece of steel ladder to ground: (400±5) mm
◆ Cable sample’s lowest point to ground: about 100mm
◆ Install a digital air speed meter in the inlet, with which, customers can control the air flow meter into (5000±500)L/Min. Air speed is stable during test.
◆ It’s equipped with alrm device, if it keeps burning 1H after stop supply fire, it will alarm and spray device will work to stop burning.
